It is only reliant on PHP(4.3.0 ) and filesystem access(the normal stuff..) This way, it can be used on most any host out there, and can be used just by copying a folder into your website directory, and going there(and doing some basic config stuff..) and then just going about editing and managing your website.
It is a framework based system, which means, it is designed to be extended upon. The best way to extend it is to make an add-on.
Add-ons provide the main functionality to the system. They are meant to be very easy to make, but provide you with all the power you would need.
